I was talking to my friend Michelle the other day before bible study on wed night..she is going through a rough time with her father who is suffering from cancer right now (prayers would be greatly appreciated) and I told her about the verse "nothing is impossible with God " in the bible..I forgot exactly where in the bible that this verse is said at the time and she felt encouraged..
I then woke up this am to do my daily bible reading/devotional (read bible in 1 year) and just happened to be on Mark 10..I got to the 27th verse and Jesus was speaking and he said" Nothing is impossible with God" and I was so excited that God showed me where it was that I was fixing to call Michelle to tell her but as i was about to I was prompted to look in the Gospels cause I knew i saw that verse besides in Mark so i flipped open my bible and it landed on luke chapter 1..and my eyes immediately saw "nothing is impossible with God"..The angel was speaking to Mary about Elizabeth being pregnant in her old age..WOW!!! so I called Michelle and she was very excited/encouraged and so we went about our day..I went to work and then got home tonight and Michelle left me a voice mail saying she was out driving today and was behind a car with a bumper sticker entitled "nothing is impossible with God"...Double WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! God is so awesome and he usually does things in 3's to make a point..well the point is made! Thank you Jesus!
So Please remember that "Nothing is impossible with God"..No matter what circumstances you may be going through or about to go through..this verse should bring great comfort..Keep your eyes on Jesus and all will be made well..He has each and every intrests of ours in his heart and he cares greatly for each and every one of you. I focused on this verse when my mother was critcally ill in the hospital:
She had a hysterectomy on sept 13th 2009 and the next day developed blood clots in her lungs..they put her on blood thinners and then she started "fainting" a few days later and realized she was having internal bleeding..she was then rushed to ICU and got a filter placed to prevent blood clots from traveling to her heart and she also had where they went up her groin internally to stop the bleeders..they were able to stop some but she was still losing blood..During this time Ironically I felt extreme peace from God. I was so God centered and kept reading scripture over her and I could see she was at peace too. I also was able to witness to some people in the ICU waiting room and read scriptures with them and pray with them..their father was on the vent and through prayer they saught a second opinion and he was able to come off the vent!
So when God is telling you to do something please don't hesitate! Lives could be saved!
God revealed himself to me that whole weekend things were going downhill..for example..before mom's surgery she wanted me to read pssalm 23 and so I did and then that weekend i saw in the chapel psalm 23 on the wall..then when i got home from the hospital during that weekend In my mailbox was a magazine by charles stanley "in touch" that talked about several things about "do not fear", and John 16:33 : "In this world you will have trouble , but take heart I've overcome the world". on the back said "subscribe today"..lol. God has a sense of humor..So so far he used scripture, and pieces of mail to communicate..He also used songs and rainbows..I was driving and a song came on entitled " Lay it down" by needtobreathe..it only came on 2 times during that weekend and I instantly felt the wt taking off my shoulders as I was laying it all at Jesus's feet.
Back to the story: So mom was doing very bad and also went into acute renal failure since the bleeding was turning into massive blood clot in her abd that was compressing her kidney and actually punctured a hole in her bladder!. .She also had an NG tube down since her bowels were shutting down..she kept losing blood..and it was hard to treat because if you give blood thinners she will bleed and if you don't she will clot..so either way she would probably die. Well the next day i was praying hard to my grandfather who had been dead for 20 years and to Jesus and I walk in and her blood level had maintained (she recieved over 14 units of blood) and she had urine output and better kidney function! I prayed for those 2 specific things..It was like she did a complete 180..She was only in the ICU for 1 week and then was put back on Progressive care unit for 2 months total! Later on she told me she had seen God at her bedside while in the ICU ..he appeared to her on the rt, then left then above her..she describes it as a bright light with an image in the middle, she states he put his hands on her arms when she asked him if she was going to be okay and felt warm head to toe..I really believe he healed her in this instant..since he kept giving me the verse in Mark chapter 5 about the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years and touched the edge of Jesus's cloak and was healed "by your faith you have been healed". She also saw my grandfather whom i prayed to before she saw God..she said he looked younger and so happy.
Mom is doing much better now..she did have a lot of clots everywhere and now has only one blood clot in her leg..that's it! She truly is a walking miracle."nothing is impossible with God"~
I'm very grateful for Mom being saved and is here to enjoy life with us..she is such a wonderful blessing. We have been able to share our testimony with what God has done for us through our church and other groups and through xmas newsletter! I told God that if he saved mom I would give my testimony to whoever wants to hear. I pray that If you haven't accepted him as your Lord and savior you will highly consider it..He's always waiting..
