More healing!

Last night I woke up at 1230am with fever of 99.5 and felt nauseated/body achy. I then took some motrin, and a rolaid and then laid back in bed but then I started praying to God to heal me so I can do his ministry (so i can work this week as a nurse and as a mom...). I kept thinking of the verses in the bible "I called upon the Lord and He answered me". I then fell asleep and woke up this am without nausea or body aches or low grade fever..At first I was shocked in a way..I don't know why I should "doubt' God's ability to heal..It's not that I doubt that it's just amazing that he would think of me "a sinner" and lavish his healing power on ME! It's soo awesome..so here i was this am doing my daily bible reading (i'm reading the bible in a year) and I happened to be on 2Kings chapter 20 and was reading about Hezekiah's illness and it says in verse 5 "I have heard your prayer, and seen your tears, I will heal you"..but this wasn't good enough for Hezekiah..he wanted a sign that he was healed by God..So God caused his shadow go back the ten steps on the sun dial..then i was reminded of this neat sun dial they just recently installed at the northwest fl campus..and reminded that I need to go by "faith" that I'm healed and not thinking that I will get sick again today..to just bask in his healing power and even if I do get sick again I believe it's for a reason and I will just trust in God's timing for everything. Thank you Lord for your healing power..you are the Big Physician !!!!!

The power of prayer

This past wed night my dad said he had been having chest pain for 2 weeks..I got onto him by telling him he needs to go to ER but he didn't want to go and states he would wait till his dr appt the next day. We went to the Dr and she admitted him for tests. It was funny cause as Dad and I were going up the elevator to the 3rd floor ..he says.."wouldn't it be funny if we saw the nurse that took care of mom "jeffery..well we round the corner and there he is at the nurses station and dad's cardiologist was sitting at the desk. Talk about perfect timing. I also felt everyone's prayers since by this time word was getting out about dad's hospitalization. He states his pain felt like someone sitting on his chest. I of course was very concerned. The ironic thing was he was in the room right next door to mom's old room that she was in an exact year ago for 2 months. CRAZY! Needless to say it was like a reunion of sorts with the Staff of PCU and it was neat to see everyone but really it was weird to relive that ..
I then went home for the night and the song that happened to be on the radio was "Praise you in this Storm" by Casting Crowns..I had posted this song a few days before on my facebook for my thurs am bible study ladies since it's from psalm 121 that we are studying.."I look my eyes unto the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth."Awesome song and how true!!!!!!
Dad then went in for his heart cath this am and my wonderful friend Michelle came and prayed with my parents before the procedure and she said the holy spirit prompted her to say "in a little while we will be celebrating"..and then we went back for the news and he said his heart was clear!!!!! How Awesome..Dad did say his pressure in his chest was relieved greatly last night at 10pm without medication ..I really believe it's from all the prayers! God is the ultimate Healer!
Mom also said she woke up at 3:33 last night (see my prev entry about the significance of 3:33). So All praises and Honor and Glory to our wonderful Lord Almighty who is so much deserving of our Praise. He is all sufficient!

3:21

Recently i've been waking up (twice) at 3:21..yesterday i talked to my mom about waking up at 3:21 and what that could mean ..Beth Moore quoted a scripture the other day from Ephesians 3:3 "a time to heal"..cause if you add 2 plus 1 it equals 3. Then i went to sleep last night and woke up at exactly 3:21!!! WEIRD! Today I told Josh about it and i said maybe it's a "count down" to Christ coming back..and then one hour later I went to andy stanley's website and he's doing a series on "TI:ME" and the title was "your days are numbered"..It's all a sign from God..Just like he woke me up at 3:33 and used Ashley to say "wake up" ..he's trying to tell all of us wake up before it's too late..yes our days our numbered..what are we doing with our time??? That is the ultimate question. I consider myself so blessed to be within the ministry by going out and helping others at their homes and really spend time with my patients..its such an awesome /rewarding job to be a home health nurse. I really feel this is where God wants me..all of us have God given abilities to serve in his ministry. don't be afraid to use the skills God has given you..
The count down is on! and be aware..God is always communicating you just have to be in tune with what he is showing you..to do this you must be in his word and have a personal relationship with him..he's always waiting ..

The significance of 3:33

A few weeks ago I was talking to my friend Michelle and she told me God woke her up at 3:33 and she felt compelled to read her bible..she then pondered on the numbers 3:33 and thought 3 :stands for Father, Son,, Holy spirit (the trinity) and 33 was the age Jesus was when he died.
Later on after she told me this i experienced the "wake up" story that I had posted previously in my blog about how Ashley said Wake up on the baby monitor and it said 3:33 on my alarm.
Just recently Ashley woke up from a bad dream..at that time it said 3:30 on my alarm clock and when i came back I said/thought.."wouldn't that be funny if it said 3:33? and it did!
My friend Michelle and I were recently talking and she said the mayan calendar says the end of the world will happen on 12-21-12..if you add one plus 2 you get 3..so 3:33 again! God did say we wouldn't know the day or the hour but he also said he would give us signs as the end of the world..
Then wed night after bible study, Michelle calls me again and states she was at the gas station and there happened to be 3 items for sale for 3 dollars and 33 cents!..what are the chances of that???
Not to mention we just got done talking about 3:33 in class.
Then I'm reading the "essence of his presence" and in there he quoted Isaiah 43:1-3 which is what was quoted in my wed night class this past week and then Jeremiah 33:3 which states "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know"

I'm not usually into numbers but then i got to thinking ..what if God is communicating to us through "time"..think about it..when you look at your clock it usually read a number then a colon then a number..well when you look at scripture that's how you read it..usually the chapter, colon, then the verse number..
I'm sure this isn't the end of seeing 3:33..I believe God is trying to get our attention before it's too late and he's really making himself known..or maybe he's always been doing this..we just had the blinders on and weren't in tune with what he wants to show us ...either way I believe we all need to keep our eyes/ears wide open..God will surprise you. :)

The radio donation/ new job!

I went for an interview with Okaloosa Regional home health care on monday and felt pretty confident ..I have been feeling God prompt me to go into home health and work part time. I still felt a little pressure /doubt as to whether i would get the job since I didn't know if it was God's timing with all the other pressures going on at this time with trying to sell and buy a new house but I laid it all at Jesus's feet. The lady told me she would call me back sometime this week to let me know if I got it and so I was waiting and running errands today and while I was driving I was listening to WPSM (91.1) and they are celebrating their 26th bday and were asking for the listeners to donate 26 dollars to their ministry since it's all listener supportive. I thought sure Ill do that, that's pretty easy and after all God has communicated countless times to me through the radio so the radio station is very important to me. I then proceded to call them and wish them a happy Birthday. After I placed the call a thought (i call it a Thought from God) entered my head and said "since you were obedient, the lady is going to call you and give you the job"..I thought..yeah right..whatever happens happens..didn't think to much of it ..well 15 min later I get a phone call after i made the donation and it was her offering me the job!!! I got all tingly all over and got very emotional as I called my husband Josh to tell him. It was such a God thing! To top it off I just happened to be wearing my shirt that Has Jeremiah 29:11 on it "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. PLans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.". Also when I went to church My friend Michelle gave me a card to put in my wallet "nothing is impossible with God".
I'm very excited to see what God is going to do through me in this ministry he has called me to and as I help witness/take care of his people . To God be the Glory!
I will still be an ER nurse as needed to keep my hospital skill up and work home health part time (3 days a week). God is in control and I know he will be with me and my family as we impart on this new journey together.

JOB

This past wed in bible study Dad shared that he's reading the bible in a year and was tired a few days ago and just wanted to read one verse from anywhere in the bible..he flips it open and it lands on the book of Job which just happened to be the next chapter he was supposed to read following the bible in a year. Then I went to work on Thurs after hearing that story and as I was driving I was listening to 91.1 and my radio station started going out and this guy was preaching through this other radio station that was coming over 91.1 and he was talking about Trusting in God and was preaching from the book of Job! I think i've been so busy lately with trying to get the house ready for sale and trying to keep my mind off whether I would get this home health job..and I've honestly given it all to God and today I get a phone call from a home health agency that's actually affiliated with my hospital that I work at now and I'm going for an Interview this upcoming monday! I told them I only want to work part time (2-3 days a week) and still keep my Job in the ER as PRN. I'm very excited and I will keep praying for God's will and not my will to be done!

North Point Church

Just got back from my trip to Atlanta with Josh . Had a wonderful time..braves game on fri (we lost, we left during 6th inning) and then Six flags on Sat..It was too hot and long lines so we only rode 3 roller coasters (scorcher, mind bender, and Goliath).. we still had fun and then went to downtown atl but lines were too long there for coke factory. We then left and went back to hotel and relax and then Josh surprised me and took me to my fave restraunt "Bahama Breeze"..and then woke up this am and went to Andy Stanley's Church at North Point Community Church. I was so excited to go since Andy is my favorite Pastor and He's so laid back. I was amazed at even the size parking lot..it was huge..it was like going to an amusement park. We then went in and sat maybe 9 rows back on the end and I was bummed since they said Andy wasn't preaching but as i was sitting waiting for it to start out walks Andy!!! It was neat seeing him in person and they had a wonderful praise band that sounded like you were at a concert and then a preacher from South Africa spoke on "more"..I felt God speaking to me since I may be working more soon as a nurse doing home health or urgent care but I don't know if it's God's timing..I have given this all totally to God and I feel at peace about it but he was saying when we get handed something to calm our "appetite" you need to look at the outcome and not just one focal point..and I feel i've been guilty about doing this since it may sound good to go back to work or buy a nicer house but is that what God wants and what will the outcome be??? I will continue to pray for a "clearer" picture of what he wants me to do. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed being at his church..GREAT experience.
