complaining

This past week as I was driving to see patients, I started complaining about having to drive so far..well when I got to my patient he started singing a christian hymn ..I was so blessed by that..I told him I listen to my christian music when I drive and he asked me what song and i said "Amazing Grace" since I knew he knew that one and he started singing that one as well. So God ended up Blessing me through this patient that i was Complaining about driving out to see..He had a bigger plan and I couldn't see the big picture. Isn't that how it is in life in general? I was thinking about what to give up for this upcoming lent..Last year I gave up chocolate..but now he is saying I don't have to give up something "physical" but that i need to give up an "action" and that is an action of complaining. I will need to direct my focus on God when I start to complain..it won't be easy but i'm willing to try!!! This Sunday's sermon topic was on "change"..so i feel it just confirmed what i thought..we all need to change..i'm sure we all have some habit or something we would like to change or should change!!Here's to change!!!
