JOY

So at the beginning of this year my friend asked me "what is your word for the year?" I said Joy because it's my middle name and we need JOY after 2020..it was just a hard, and difficult year. This morning I was feeling upet at God since my 2 friends are suffering with Cancer and I just felt so heavy and I was begging God to heal them. Those are the things I will admit I have a hard time understanding but we are limited in our understanding as humans as we can't see the big picture but God can. I was at my mom's house this evening for dinner and we were outside in the yard and I looked up because of the beautiful sunset and the word "JOY" was in the clouds!! I kept looking and it was there again next to the original and then over to the rt side of it again!! 3 times the word JOY appeared in the sky as well as faces..I really felt God trying relaying the fact that yes we will go through difficulty but there is JOY if we stop and look for it. He's always there, he will never leave you nor forsake you. So please remember no matter what you are going through there is JOY and there is definetely JOY awaiting for us on the other side in heaven where there will no more tears or suffering. That is a promise we can hold on to. So take heart my friends, This too shall pass and no matter what look for the JOY!

In person church

The other day My husband said he would like to go to church in person as we had been watching from home due to covid. He was actually suppoosed to work that Sunday but had gotten a call that he didn't have to go in (miracle) and I didn't have to work till 12 that day so I could attend with him. He even got up early that day to get his gym time in so we could be on time and so it was amazing..just the two of us sitting in person church (we dropped our younger one in the church nursery)...As we were worshipping I heard the Lord say "Today is the day".. not really sure I knew what that meant but felt that he was going to do something big. The message started and BOOM .. it was on the M word..Marriage..and about the importance of Praying with your spouse. We did do this early on in our marriage but then we drifted away from it since my husband told me he had doubts about Jesus even though he was raised Christian but he went off to College and he got confused. I believe he is there but just needs some more prompting. After all it was his idea a few years ago to go over to Israel and walk where he walked. That alone was amazing and he was quite amazed. Anyway I felt like God was waking us up to do more in our marriage. To pray together even if the other one isn't completely there or in a different area of their walk. I left there feeling like I was walking on a cloud..I asked my husband after how he felt and he said "yes i defintely think that was intresting". God is awesome!
