The pedestrian

So On my way home from work this past Saturday and I saw 2 cars not moving in the intersection and I thought that is odd..I peered around and there was a body lying in the middle of the road! I immediately parked my car to the side and ran to his aide and he was breathing and I told the other guy to tell the 911 people to get here stat. I asked anyone if they had gloves as this guy had massive bleeding and the guy just happened to have gloves and this other guy had a reflective vest so He could direct traffic until police arrived. I then held this guy's c-spine in place while we waited and spoke calmly to the patient and then I felt the holy spirit and started speaking words of Life into him and speaking the blood of Jesus over him and the prayer of salvation. I'm not sure if he heard me or not but I felt it was the most important thing I could do for him at the time. As a nurse I did feel helpless since I didn't have "equipment" but the holy spirit equipped me for what I was to say and to help him for ETERNITY! His very life was on the line. The police arrived and I was able to apply pressure to his head wound while trying to maintain c-spine stabliziation and then ems came and applied c-collar and they attempted intubation. we were trying to get the helicopter to come but the winds were too high. They then took the patient to an area hospital. I was then able to stay around for an hour while they cleared the scene and during that time I was able to witness to the driver that hit the patient. I Just really felt God had all 3 of us there at the right time and equipped all 3 of us to do the jobs that were needed for that time. It truly was a miracle. On monday I went to bible study and my friend Janet Powell spoke about " Displaying, defending and Declaring the Gospel" Wow.. perfect timing...especially too with all the political things going on..I really felt this in my spirit to do all 3 of those things just a few days ago and I really feel it now more so than ever in all of my christian life of living. I think we as Christians need to rise up and be the light in the Dark. It's so very important no matter who the President is because the thing is We all answer to God and to no one else. I follow God's holy word (or try to) and if it doesn't measure up to his word I will not participate in that . WE really need to decide if we are going to be apart of the mainstream culture or be set apart!!! Now's the time! Praying for all of us and for this Nation! I hope that there is a Huge revival that no one has ever seen! :)
