the Cross

I woke up on Good friday and I was in the bathroom and looked down and there was this cross bracelet on the floor (probably from one of my daughters)..I thought "that's neat" being that it's good Friday. I then walked to the kitchen and my foot touched something. I looked down and there was this small cross. Wasn't sure what kind of material it was at first but it felt foamy. Wow..a second cross within 5 min..! I then went to work and one of my patients had a newspaper with crosses on it.It reallly is amazing how God shows us things if we have our eyes open to it~

Er position

I am currently a home health nurse and a few weeks ago I decided to just browse the jobs online and came across a part time ER position. I was excited since I worked ER 5 years ago and felt that was my niche out of all the jobs I had done so far. I reallly loved the excitement of it all and taking care of many different conditions/patients. I started praying that If God wants me there he will make it happen and show me different signs. A few weeks go by after I had applied and the nurse called me and offered me to come in for an interview. I went and knew a MD I worked with at previous hospital in ER there and a nurse I knew from my military wives group that I used to be apart of. I remember her saying " I work part time in the ER and I thought that would be great to have a part time job (only 2 days a week) . Part time by the way is hard to find ..it's either full time or prn and even that it's usually night shift since hardly anywone desires to work nights. It turns out I will be taking her position since she's moving to south FL! The interview went very well and she said most likely I have the positiion and will let me know Wed. I then went home very excited but then I thought "I haven't worked er in 5 years..i have forgotten a lot of things ..am i really made for this job..do i trust myself..etc. " I also told my husband I need a refresher on splints since we have to do our own splinting and then a knock came at the door about 10min later and it was a neighbor with her son who had fallen and fractured his wrist! I had ace wrap on me so we wrapped it and applied ice and she took him to ER. It was just odd I just got done talking about splints and a fracture shows up at my door!!! What are the chances? I got the call Thursday that I have the position! My other work took it well..It will be hard to leave my co workers since they are like family. I can't wait to see What God has in store for me in the meantime.
