Phillipians 4:13
Last Sunday, 2/16/14 I woke up and was becoming anxious and dreading the upcoming week. I claimed Phillipians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who Strengthens me"..I then proceeded downstairs and the sun was coming in very bright through the kitchen window and hit the refrigerator. I saw this image appear and it looked like Jesus ..You could see his eyes, nose, mouth, hair, and robe and above him a crown that was shining brightly. I managed to get a picture which I will post later. It lasted maybe 10 seconds. It was sooo amazing. I then read my Jesus calling devotional and it mentioned being still and knowing that he is God and about his presence is more felt when we are still. I do believe he's always showing things to us but we are so caught up in this world with it's many distractions that we fail to recognize the things he is desiring to show us. He is our heavenly father who delights in each one of us!
I then read my bible study for the day ..we are studying Gideon by Priscilla shirer on Thursday Mornings and it mentioned that the Lord appeared to Gideon and how he can show up in unpredictable ways..his message to Gideon was "the Lord is with you". I feel that He appeared to me to let me know that He is with me..Whom shall I fear..and that yes I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength..It was very overwhelming! So I'm continuing to persevere with God by my side just like you should as well because he is with all of us and he loves us all so completely!!

scripture in prayer
This morning my heart was heavy but also excited for this next phase of my daughter's life..Lily turned 10..double digits!! I remember just the other day that she was born..time just flew by..i'm excited about the next 10 years but also frightened since the world can be a scary place but it's also a great place! She has become such a bright young lady..who's chasing boys, always cleaning, and very studious. I can see her going far in life. The most important thing is for her and ashley and for everyone to keep their eyes on Jesus. We live in a very fast culture and wanting things now and so many things distract us from what God is calling us to do! He's always revealing himself to us but I feel we are too busy to notice at times..this am was one of those "revelations"..I LOVE when I really Sense God's presence. I went to bible study this am and I saw my friend and she had been one of those people that prayed for my mom and dad when they were ill and was part of the prayer team that would come and pray with them in the hospital. She is going through some issues of her own and I felt the Holy spirit prompting me to pray with her. During our prayer time, I prayed 2 scriptures over her :Jeremiah 29:11 and Romans 8:28. We really felt the Holy spirit. Then we went our separate ways. We all had table time before the video started and the first question was what is the best present you ever recieved? One of my friends said "Jesus" which I totally agreed to and then I thought about it some more and I said "Jesus healing my mother 4 years ago " (look back on blog of my mother's healing) to where Jesus actually came and laid hands on her and she was healed. They were all speechless after that. We started watching the video by Priscilla shirer session 2 of Gideon and everything she said was related to all that happened this am..she mentinoned Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:28 , The video was about the Lord appearing to Gideon and giving him strength and I just got done telling them that the Lord appeared to my mom and healed her..It was just too much!! Very overwhelmed and it left me speechless!
I then went to proctor at Ashley's school and they had 33 math questions they had to answer..33 is a number the Lord shows me over and over again..(age of Jesus when he died)..it was another love tap..maybe i look too much into it but I know it's from God.
God is soo amazing and when he wants to get a message across he will continue to show you numbers, verses, or even himself!
